Just a sad statement on our society that we can't all work together for what is SO OBVIOUS for the common good. The outliers used to be made to get inline now they are half of the people among us. Cases are surging all around them and they won't so the simplest thing to protect others and themselves. Just unbelievable. So selfish so self centered.

The nation's top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, expressed support for a national mask mandate but said he does not think the Trump White House would issue one.

"You’re using the word 'mandating masks' - yes if that works, let’s do it. I don’t think it’s going to happen nationally," he said. "It may not come from the White House to do it and if it doesn’t, then I think that the mayors and the governors should do it."

So... something that could have been EASILY accomplished with a sense of unity, cooperation, and patriotism, if only the President had endorse it and encouraged it, will now, most likely, be mandated by law. The world's most self-centered sociopath has now spread his disease to his entire flock.

People have to have rules and consequences for breaking the rules. We would not need laws and regulations if that were not the case. In other words humans are selfish and self centered yes. Then throw in some bad politics from the President of the United States who happens to be extremely selfish and self centered and you have the formula for people behaving poorly. A better leader would have reasoned with the American people why wearing a mask will protect our health and our economy. If reasoning did not work a better leader would have quickly mandated wearing a mask with consequences for not wearing one. I don't really understand the behavior in a human that would not care about the greater good but I do know that good leadership is not what Donald Trump is or does. If we do not fire him in this election, then what he said about shooting someone and getting away with it was a sick truth.
