Was reading about a proposal for shielding businesses from Covid 19 related lawsuits. Based on the article it appears as long as a company is following best practices the proposal might limit their exposure. Let's use Publix as an example, they have signs in the doorway, workers are masked up and they are cleaning carts and baskets, yet they are not enforcing the mask rules for those who shop in their store. So is this a place where a best practice is being applied or is it what they will use to limit their liability in court? Next you have a bar/ restaurant with a sign on the door that tells you mask aren't required but more or less you enter at your own risk. What is your take on the idea of shielding businesses?
