Witnessed a new style of running a red light today traveling west on 98 in Destin. The SUV in front of me changed lanes to go around a vehicle that had already stopped for the light. Fortunately no vehicle was in the intersection

so much red light running going on here, I see it a half dozen times daily though never like this. Crazy. Im ready for drones to be employed or satellite tracking or just mandatory chips in vehicles. Ticket speeding, frequent lane changes, red light running, any erratic driving etc. . it’s like laws are merely suggestions to more and more folks these days. Across a broad swath of infringements

At every light my wife I and try to guess the number of cars that will run the red light. Fortunately there are times the total is zero.
Would be nice if WCSO could deputize citizens with the authority to issue citations for this type of violation.

Some of the volunteer deputies do have this power, but usually spend most of it writing up "illegally" parked vehicles.

Red light running has been bad in Louisville for a long time. People tired of waiting to learn left on a red, turn anyway. Had a guy tired of waiting for us to turn right on red, when clear, and pulled around us. That happened recently. Almost hit him as we pulled out at the same time. Ellen
