Human reality seems to be controlled more from emotion than reason. I believe that reason (science and math) would support this. Truth and reality should be closely related but because of our emotional nature it may or may not be. My thoughts are that instead of being frustrated that another human has a different reality, a better solution is for us to give more effort to relate to each other. Why not? Why should I give up on relating to those who are living a reality different than mine? How does being a ahole help anything? Why is being right or superior to another human better than giving effort to relate to our family, our friends and our neighbors who live in a different reality? If we can't even give the effort it is because of our emotional nature and there is little hope. We ALL need hope in order to be happy. My hope for this new year is that we develop skills to help us relate to each other...

Witnessed a new style of running a red light today traveling west on 98 in Destin. The SUV in front of me changed lanes to go around a vehicle that had already stopped for the light. Fortunately no vehicle was in the intersection.
