Mom-isms

New posts
My mom died about 13 years ago. I don't remember any sayings she said that were distinctive from anything anyone else has already said.

But I do remember that her breath always smelled like coffee, and her fingers always smelled like garlic. This was not bad. It just was the way it was.

not a mom-sim, and my granma said it, but anywho, she'd always say "i love you and bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck". don't know what made me think of that today, it popped into my head on the way home from work.

Awwwww, Audie, that's sweet!

Not actually a Mom-ism - more like a mom lesson. A few years ago a certain member of my family had a face lift. She was bruised, bandaged, bloody and swollen. As a mom I used this to my advantage. When my young son saw the horiffic sight he said, "What HAPPEN?" I lied and told him that she forgot to look both ways before crossing the road!

He now looks both ways.
