As of today, I am in the "big leagues". My baby, Will, is 13 today. I can't believe I have a teenager, since I refuse to let go of a part of being one myself. ............

I miss elementary school today. When he was younger, I would give him a "day off" every now and then and we would play hooky and do something special. Can't do that easily now.

I have been taking notes on every post regarding teenage children and stories about your adult children too, since those days aren't far off

"Slip of a girl" HA HA HA HA HA :rofl: Haven't been one of those since 1st grade. But now I feel better about those fried clams I just inhaled for lunch! (Hopefully SJ won't post pics of what clams look like when they are slaughtered.)


Will wants to sing the dum dum dum song all day. Guess it is our family "theme song" now. But I'm the only one that gets a sweater in my family!!!! :nono1:

This is encouraging to read, I wasn't sure I was going to let my 11 year old live to be a teenager!! He's almost 12 going on 21!!
