Your daughter is talented. I love looking for your avatars to see what she's created!
What a sweet comment! Yes, she is very gifted as an artist. She was an architecture major, but decided that "having" to do art took the joy out of it. So now she's pre-med. She is also a violinist and used to do a lot of weddings and parties (one for Jimmy Carter). But college keeps her so busy that she hasn't done any gigs in a while.

Your daughter played the violin at Jimmy Carter's wedding party?:idontno:

Man I was gonna say that

I said that she performs at weddings and parties. She performed at a party for Jimmy Carter. She's just 20. Hell, I wasn't even born when Jimmy got married.

She wasn't solo at Jimmy's party. There were two first violinists (one of whom was my daughter), two second violinists, and a cellist.

Jesus. Can we say attack mode?

My son plays cello solos a lot at our church (he's 15). He doesn't quite have enough of a repertoire yet to perform at parties, etc. But it is wonderful experience for youth to be asked to perform. It does wonders for their self-confidence. (I just want to make sure that his dosen't get "out of control!")

I was thinking that maybe your daughter played at Amy's wedding. That wouldn't have been too far fetched!

I was just giving you a hard time. :D It must feel pretty good to be asked to play music and get paid for it. I would be happy to just be able to play.

BTW, I like your snowman avatar.
