sara82 might not have top-of-the-line like BR's daughter, but at least for sara82 the beach has no competition. We now have a major mystery solved. BR's daughter always refuses to visit SoWal because she's too busy baking in the kitchen! Hmmm, baking or beach? baking or beach? BAKING!!

BR, take the fancy kitchen goods from that girl or you'll never see her in SoWal again! :pissed:

I was fortuante to get WS bakeware as a gift...yes I wanted it. Amazing stuff. Everything cooks better with it. When my daughter got her first apt., I purchased a few key pieces as my gift to her. I suspect she will be using them when I leave this place because of the quality. I have a mix of good and average and just plain cheap bakeware, but must admit the WS stuff is really good. That is if you bake often. For the occasional person, cheap will work fine.

My girls and I will be down the first week of March as well. Maybe we can spot sara82. We will be at the Red Bar one night, just not yet sure when.

I don't really think anything can help my baking ability. W-S..Baker's secret, no difference to me.

I wonder if I had WS bakeware, if it would make me enjoy cooking? I can do what I do just fine with what I have, but I don't ENJOY cooking, as a matter of fact, that's putting it mildly.

SPRING BREAK around my house has been a sore subject. 18 yo senior son wanted to go to Panty Maul City with the "boys." NO, NO, NO. You know the spill, I'm 18, blah, blah, blah. NO, NO, NO. There was a big chill in the house for a few days. :bang:

We went a couple of years due to the fact that we were too lazy to figure anything else out. We stayed at the Chateau Motel on the strip. It was insane. Pure debautchery. The first run we had down there we got busted within 2 hours of being there. Our friends next door got all their booze poured out that we stopped in Troy to have her youth minister buy for us. The experience was so trasy and so gross and so not us...but so much fun.

Our 2nd year we went- Chateau again- we met a guy that went by the name "Tweeter". He came out on the balcony in a rooster g-string and a cowboy hat. It was love at first sight. We lied and told him I was turning 21. He showed me the Tweeter end zone dance and the rest was history.

So mommas...ask yourself this...do you want your child to skip this experience, or do you want to wake up at 3am with the Panama City Beach PD on the phone letting you know your son's going to be the dude in the orange picking up trash.

:lolabove: After surviving Spring Break '84 in Daytona Beach I consider myself lucky to be alive! As long as I have any say in it, my kiddos will be spring breaking with their Momma!!!!

I didn't say he couldn't go, I just said Mom & Dad have to be there also. Kinda ruins it huh. I have heard too many horror stories, and I know my son, he would be right in the middle of it, he takes after me.

Don't blame you at all! I don't think my parents had time to think about it. We were just gone with the wind. It was fun. We stayed out of trouble...no drinking and driving. Only one went to "spring break court" over a fake ID.
