Not all kids are "had" by their parents. ;-) Some are adopted or fostered. ...and I think that only women "have" kids anyway. Men "get" kids. :funn:


...and Donna, for the reasons you state, if I owned a rental house, it would be "booked" by myself during Spring Break. I would rather have a house full of wild dogs.

Believe me...My ex gave birth almost as much as I did!!! He fed me ice chips till his arm fell off!!! He struggled through the first birth like a champ..I commend him :clap_1:

A friend of mine recently had a colonoscopy and was on the couch for a week afterwards. I went to visit and was asking her about her pain and the general details of the surgery. She was not looking too healthy. Her husband responds to my question, "oh, it wasn't bad at all." She could have taken him out with nothing more than the look in her eyes.

i've always hated when men say "we're pregnant" - no we are not, the woman is pregnant. just a pet peeve of mine, but since i am child-free as my sis says, i probably don't know what i'm talking about !

I've heard of owners of beach houses who do not rent during the entire spring break (2 months or so) season because of the kids who have made their way to South Walton over the last several years. makes sense to me, although this can be a pretty big revenue loss.

Audie, I have kids and it peeves me, too. I'd have gladly done time-share with my husband when I was pregnant but obviously such a thing doesn't exist. (Duh) So this business of being magnanimous with the terminology and pretending to be jointly pregnant is just a crock of sh**. There's no "we're" about it.

...a week???? Cover your eyes if you get squeamish....I'm going in next week for the top and bottom scopes!!! I may be on the sofa for a month!!!
