Update on Daddy

New posts
Lynne I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I understand completely. I also know from experience what you are going through, and you will stop scaring the neighbor's cat, I promise. As time moves on these next few weeks, you will have ups and downs but always precious memories.

May God richly bless you and your family with the kind of peace that can only come from Him......

No news. My sister gave me a break, so I came home to sleep. But
it isn't happening. I knew y'all would make me smile so here I am.

Thanks to each of you for thinking of me. (I knew that verse right away BC, it's one of my favorites) I'll try to check in before the week ends depending on how he's doing and if I can get away. If nothing changes with him I may just lurk and run without posting. Speaking of lurkers I noticed Shelly was on when I signed on. Someone tell Cork.

I'm here Cheering. I feel horrible that I wasn't here earlier. Been swamped but just had a feeling that I had to spend a minute and pop in tonight. I'm speachless (unusual, huh? ).

All my love goes to you and your family and I pray that you can soon find the same inner peace that your love gave to your dad during his passing. Though you may not see him, I know that your wingman will be watching over you until you meet him again on the other side.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful spirit with us during this difficult time - you're truly a very special person! Whatever you need, you have many friends here. Just reach out if there's anything that you need and we'll be there.

Dearest Lynne,
I will be thinking of you and your family. I am glad you were with your Daddy at that moment. The arms of SoWal will be embracing you in the days to come. God Bless.

Dearest Lynne, I am so, so sorry for the loss of your daddy. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family. I wish for you peace and comfort. You are so sweet, and I know your daddy must have been also. Take care Lynne. We are alway's here for you. I sending you warm hugs.

Dear Lynne, so sorry about the loss of your dad. Will be praying for better days ahead for you and your family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with us.

Dear Lynne:

I, too, am sorry for your loss. No doubt, you will have some tough times ahead. I also know in my heart that you will draw great strength and peace for years to come from having spent these precious last days and moments with your father. There are no words to explain what an honor and priviledge it is -- but I believe you know what I mean.

Lynne:
oh my goodness....these posts, and your story, bespeak the power of what this e-connectedness can do. I am sorry beyond words for the pain and grief you are experiencing--and yet, the fact that you were able to be with your father through this time is a wonderful gift that will, in the long run, help you come to terms with this life event. Your father sounds like he was a terrific person, and his gift to all of you was that you were able to be with him as he left on his journey to God. All of us who have lost parents, no matter how long ago, never "get over it"--but as one person noted here, the fact that they lived becomes a central aspect of our memory.

Please know that all of us here send our thoughts, prayers, and love to you and your family. Take care of yourself--and know that its ok to cry, even at times that it may seem weird. (one of the best things I was told when my mother died a few years ago was by my Bham doc--who had lost her mother. She told me there were times she was in a stairwell, and would just burst into tears. It is ok to have grief--and the world will understand.

All the best
Charlotte (New Yorker)
