yep, he was happy! he won't be when I tell him about the giant leak in the laundry room! guess the roofers forgot something when they left last night!

 destindreamin, boy did it rain and storm here. Started yesterday afternoon I would say around 3, rained again around 6:00 last night, and then started again around 9:00 and rained for about 30 minutes. We have had according to my rain gauge around 3 inches. Much needed. My plants badly needed it. Some homes in Cordova had roof damage because of 63 mph winds and some of the garage doors on the homes looked like something had taken them and bent them in half or twisted them. They were showing more for today but don't know about now. They are showing a 90% chance of they say occasional showers and thunderstorms today. How can it be occasional at 90%?

We had a heck of a storm, but mr. dd says only half an inch. But, we'll take it! It's soooooooo dry! We need lots more, but not until they fix that blasted leak!

Our basement floods every time we have a long soaking rain. But since the rain was so fast and not a real long lasting rain our basement didn't flood. But if it had been an all day soaker it would have 2 to 3 inches of water standing in it. It is already clouding up again so I assume we will get the other 90% they are talking about. Our ground is mushy and saturated already!

I broke the bad news before he had coffee--not good. But, they're not finished with the roof, so maybe they can fix it. :idontno:
Hope you get a good report tomorrow! I know you're ready to get your life back to normal (&NEW!).
