AZ sheriff blames political rhetoric

SB44--may as well give up...Shopper's mind is made up....;-)

Dang straight. Jared didn't do this because politics in this country can sometimes be heated. He did it cause the dude was plum crazy. Plain and simple.

I should have backed away from this thread when I had a chance. If SoWal threads contain the word "Palin", Beck", or Rush", avoid at all costs!

"I may disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure you're not Hitler." This joke is funny (and true), only because all three of the above mentioned commentators have compared the American President to Hitler, repeatedly. Does this give any perspective to the debate? Nah, I didn't think so. You were too busy reloading...

Why have the investigators not come forth and tell us what kind of drugs the kid was on, prescribed or illegal? The Columbine massacre shooters were on prescription drugs for depression, which unfortunately, have terrible side effects for some people. Some of the known side effects are a higher risk for suicide. However, I barely recall mention of it in the mass media. Maybe it's because board of directors for big pharma also sit on boards of major media giants and they don't want to see drugs pulled from distribution and major lawsuits against big pharma.

I'm sure the investigators can determine what this guy was looking at online if they have access to his computer(s). They should also be able to determine his medications he had in his body at the time of the shootings. The big question is, Will the news media report on it?

I found one news story which references a black bag which the shooter and his dad were arguing over on the day of the shooting. The shooter had removed the bag from the family car. Someone else found the bag and reported it to the police and the police will not comment on the bag's content. Could be nothing, or could be even more bizarre.

I read it had ammo in it.

Will someone please remind me which politician it was who said, ?If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. Because from what I understand, folks in Philly like a good brawl."

He was quoting the Untouchables, but it was a poor, poor choice of movie lines to use. I would have much prefered he put cross-hairs on his enemies, so we would all know them by the marks.:sarc:

While we are blaming everyone except the gunman, can we talk about Super Bowl commercials? The majority involve crotch kicks, punches or personal injury. The Doritos commercial probably has resulted in much violence we are unaware of...
