Is it my imagination or did a bunch of posts disappear from this thread?
 
They (FHP) were back at it again on Monday.

There was a SUV type vehilce on 98 where the speed changes drastically. Saw him smoking a big cigar while running his radar. Another on 30a.

All Summer, no where to be found...

Bet they are not supposed to be smoking on duty and in those cars...
 
Does anyone know when the new bridge is supposed to go in? Hopefully then the speed limit can go back to a realistic speed.

I put my car on cruise control for that stretch, because the speed is so slow that my foot instinctively doesn't obey it.

Me too. And from Grayton to Eastern Lake in the off season when 25 mph is ridiculous (except in Seaside).
 
I get passed on the bridge just about daily when I am creeping along at 25mph. Of course the nice officers are nowhere to be found when I am being passed. I have seen them pass a car on the bridge to pull someone over. I usually have about 5 cars behind me all looking angry. :cool:
